With nearly two decades of experience as a dedicated dietitian, I specialise in maternal and infant nutrition. As a Registered Dietitian, my journey has been both enriching and rewarding, driven by a profound belief that health begins in the womb. I am passionately committed to advocating for the vital role of early nutrition in shaping lifelong health. My unique qualifications include extensive hands-on experience and a strong foundation in nutritional science, which enable me to effectively guide families through the complexities of maternal and infant nutrition, ensuring the best possible start for their children.

EXPERIENCE
I am a dietitian with over eighteen years of experience, having worked both autonomously and within the NHS as a maternal and infant dietitian. I graduated in dietetics and hold postgraduate qualifications in clinical nutrition, paediatrics, and a masters in child and adolescent health. Additionally, I am qualified in diabetes education in partnership with IDF. My expertise spans fertility, helping couples to conceive, pregnancy, breastfeeding and early childhood nutrition. I have extensive experience working with patients in various clinical settings, providing comprehensive nutritional guidance and support to optimise maternal and infant health.

I specialise in maternal and infant nutrition, with a particular passion for fertility and pregnancy. I am dedicated to helping families with food introduction and addressing neonatal difficulties. My focus includes supporting couples in their journey to conceive, providing nutritional guidance during pregnancy, and ensuring optimal nutrition for infants and young children. I am deeply committed to addressing the unique nutritional needs of mothers and infants to promote healthy development and long-term well-being.

Tazmin is a Registered Dietitian and mother of two, based in London, with over ten years of experience in dietetics. She specialises in Prenatal & Paediatric Nutrition, offering tailored support for women through preconception, pregnancy and beyond. Whether clients are trying to conceive or already pregnant, Tazmin understands that this unique time is often filled with questions and uncertainties. She helps optimise nutrition to increase the chances of conception and reduce pregnancy complications such as gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, preterm birth and managing optimal weight gain, ensuring both mum and baby thrive. She has a particular interest in supporting women with diabetes in pregnancy, having spent several years specialising in diabetes early in her career.

Tazmin’s passion for prenatal nutrition stems from her personal experience during her first pregnancy in 2019. Although she had been supporting women in pregnancy nutrition through the NHS for years, her own journey gave her a deeper understanding of the challenges mothers face. This inspired her to establish her private practice and become also breastfeeding peer supporter, empowering mums through every stage of their journey.

Her career spans both freelance work and the NHS. While her freelance practice focuses on preconception and pregnancy nutrition, in 2023, she transitioned from her role as a Diabetes Specialist Dietitian to a Paediatric Specialist Dietitian within the NHS. This role allows her to provide continuity of care not only during pregnancy but also in the early years of a child’s life, supporting infant growth & feeding as well as general paediatric nutrition.

In addition to her expertise in pregnancy and infant feeding, Tazmin offers advice on managing a range of conditions including high cholesterol, IBS, weight management, nutrition support, coeliac disease, and plant-based diets.

Tazmin is also a committee member of the British Dietetic Association’s Maternal and Fertility Group and volunteers at local feeding clinics. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her two children, exploring delicious food, experimenting with new recipes, running, traveling, and foraging in nature.
